Nitto Trail Grappler M/T
Nitto’s mud-terrain, and the only tire tracked here that publishes a noise reduction figure. This page collects what Nitto states, what specification listings carry, and where the two disagree.

Published specifications
Figures below are either stated by the manufacturer or carried by specification listings, with the source named on each row. Where nothing is published the row says so, rather than being left blank or filled from a neighbouring size. Matched-size figures for all six tracked tires are in the specification database.

What the manufacturer claims
Nitto’s figures are measured against its own Mud Grappler, a deliberately more aggressive and louder tire. They cannot be placed on a common scale with any figure published by another manufacturer.

What is not published
Nitto publishes no warranty term in the specifications we reviewed, and no three-peak mountain snowflake certification. “Not stated” means the manufacturer makes no claim either way — not that the tire failed a test. Mud tires in snow covers why that distinction matters.
A retailer weight discrepancy is documented: one database lists the Trail Grappler at 58.45 lb against Nitto’s own 66.39 lb. The tiresize listing for LT285/70R17 also shows the Load Range C and Load Range E versions at an identical 66.4 lb, which suggests one row was copied from the other. More cases in what the spec sheets get wrong.

Stepping from 35×12.50R17 to 37×12.50R17 adds 7.4 lb per tire on the tiresize figures (79.9 lb to 87.3 lb) — the largest jump of the five tires listed in both sizes, and the Trail Grappler is the heaviest 37 of the six.
