What Toyo publishes
Its own 1-to-5 performance ratings, which compare only Toyo tires: 5.0 off-road, 3.5 winter handling, 3.0 quiet ride. Toyo describes the tire as built for roads that turn muddy, snowy and rocky, but makes no three-peak mountain snowflake claim.
What it does not publish
No noise figure, and no mileage warranty: Toyo lists a limited warranty and a 500-mile, 45-day trial. Its three-ply sidewall and high turn-up polyester construction are described in SimpleTire’s listing rather than on Toyo’s own page.

Toyo publishes no noise figure, which means the Open Country M/T cannot be compared with the Nitto Trail Grappler on noise even informally: one has a number measured against a stablemate, the other has nothing. How loud are mud tires sets out why none of the published figures are comparable.
