In 37×12.50R17 it is listed at 3,970 lb in Load Range E at 65 psi, where the other five tracked tires are Load Range D at 50 psi and 3,525 lb. It is a different load range, not a stronger version of the same tire. It also weighs 7.5 lb less than the Nitto Trail Grappler in that size.
What it does not publish
No noise figure. No 3PMSF certification. No ply count: Maxxis describes an “armor sidewall design” without stating a number of plies.

Maxxis publishes no noise figure, no three-peak mountain snowflake certification, and no ply count for this model. The widely repeated “Maxxis RAZR MT 3-ply sidewall” traces to retailer catalogue listings, where the phrase is part of the product name rather than a manufacturer specification. As elsewhere on this site, “not stated” records an absence of any published claim rather than a failed test. Correction (22 October 2026): the sidewall row above originally quoted Maxxis as describing “dual-cord body-ply technology”. Maxxis’s own page says “dual-core body-ply technology”.
The load figure above is the one specification where this tire is the outlier in its size, which is why it is stated with its pressure and load range attached. A maximum load is only meaningful alongside both. See load range explained.

Across retailers on 10 September 2026 the same tire ranged from $292.85 to $374.12 on the same day. Stepping from 35×12.50R17 to 37×12.50R17 adds 5.9 lb per tire on the tiresize figures (73.9 lb to 79.8 lb).
