Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2, 2026
By using mudtires.org (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Research, not testing
Mud Tires is sourced research: manufacturer spec sheets, published load and speed ratings, and other cited sources. I don’t test tires myself. Specs, sizes, prices and availability change, so confirm the details with the manufacturer or a tire shop before you buy.
Fitment and safety
Fitment answers and calculator results are estimates. Lifts, wheels, offsets, load ratings and local laws all matter, and only a physical check on your vehicle settles whether a tire fits safely. Off-road driving carries real risk: tire pressure, load and how you drive are your responsibility.
Content
The Site’s text, tables and calculators belong to mudtires.org unless otherwise noted. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with a link back. Please don’t republish full articles or tables without permission. Tire brand and model names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products.
External links
The Site links to manufacturers and other websites I don’t control. I’m not responsible for their content, products or practices. How the Site is paid for is explained on the Methodology page.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, mudtires.org isn’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including tire purchases, fitment or vehicle damage.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
I may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.
